Life according to the iphone (one sentence each)

Let's try a game - no more than one sentence per picture (all in the name of plowing through and trying to catch up):

Gabe's hood kept falling over his eyes while playing out in the monsoon last week.

My beautiful baby girl.

A trip to IHOP after Marty and Brynn were feeling stir-crazy from being cooped up with a cold (did you know kids eat free at the one in Queen Creek?)

We are having the hardest time getting a big smile out of her for pictures.

Luck baby (and lucky Daddy, too)!

We were lucky enough to have my gorgeous cousin, Gabby, stay with us right after we got back from Utah.
It was so nice to be able to have her here that long, and the day the kids woke up and she wasn't here anymore they were so confused!

We had so much fun staying up after the kids were in bed to go get half price shakes from sonic and play Settlers of Catan!

It's just a bummer she had so much trouble with her kidney stone, poor girl.

And here is Camille welcoming her to the family with a big blog of spit-up. :)

And Brynnie-Pie started first grade at the end of July.
So it's back to school, four teeth less. :)

 Work it, Brynn!

 First grade!

My parents bought a house in Arizona!
They aren't ready to move in for a couple years, but we got a little bit of use in it before renters took over the place. :)

Seems like a perfectly reasonable way to take a nap.

Marty experienced a scorpion sting while digging out in the yard, but he said it made him less afraid of scorpions rather than more.

Haha, don't give me that look - welcome to my LIFE!

The first tooth came out while eating granola and the other three followed within just a couple weeks.

Oh wow, these are SO out of order.

This was Brynn's kindergarten graduation - we loved Miss Bakkum and will miss her!

Hard to see, but it's a picture of Brynn hugging one of her little bffs during the graduation slide show.

For Marty's seminary husband and wife convention this year we got to go to a Diamondbacks game.

I was a little stressed out about taking a five week old around that many germs, er...people, but still had fun since we got to sit in the all-you-can-eat seats and go down on hot dogs and chips.

While playing games one night, I was in Heaven with Camille on my lap slowly going...
going...
gone.

I have been SHOCKED at how gentle Gabe has been with Camille, and think it must just be a tender mercy from the Lord.
So far, he has shoved a medicine dropper down her throat, sat on her playfully, scratched her once, and thrown multiple balls at her (accidentally, I'm convinced).
I know that list sounds bad, BUT having only those few things on his "record" with Camille now at four months is pretty darn good, I'd say (and everything but the balls happened within just a couple of rough days for him).

We got to pool-sit for some friends of ours right at the time the kids were in swimming lessons, so it was nice for them to be able to practice.
At the end, we indulged Bryce and let him get in Gabe's little boat, but Brynn was a little fish and just swimming all over the place!

Marty did a cute little missionary presentation for the primary kids and talked about Brazil.
I cranked out a bazillion little cheese-balls and I have to say they were pretty amazing. :)

Brynn had her little ballet recital in June (nevermind the exploding "hot-spot" in the background).
It was a wonderful experience, but we after that we took a little break from all things extra-curricular and will hit it again soon.

Dressed up and matching with my little dolly.

Alright, some of the those sentences were serious run-ons, but I'm counting it anyway!  Months worth of iphone pics with just a sentence each.  Stay tuned for iphone pics part 2... :)
