Picking up where I left off

April 4th was a big day. It was Easter, General Conference, Marty's Mom's birthday, and I was trying to pack because I had to leave for the airport and 4:30 the next morning.

On Easter morning, Brynn didn't waste any time with the candy. We had a little trail of Easter eggs leading to her basket, but it took all morning to follow it because she had to stop and open each egg to see what was in it.

I wondered if the kids would think it was lame to get berries in their Easter baskets in place of some of the sugar, but they loved it! The strawberries and dried fruit were the first things to go!

Bryce didn't care what was in the egg actually, as long as he could still throw it.
Brynn's new favorite thing is nail polish.
Marty went to put Bryce down for a nap and discovered these in all the crevices of his chubby little body. The chocolate was in his hand, the marshmallows were underneath one of his chins, and who knows where the grass was.
We always make a cake for Grandma Georgia's birthday and read some of her journal that Marty's sister typed up a few years ago. Wait a second...haven't I posted this exact picture 15 times before? He is so photogenic in the high chair.
