Happy Birthday, Marty!

Marty turned 26 yesterday, hooray! It was a nice laid-back day. I brought balloons and lunch (In-and-Out!) at the end of one of his classes. Then for dinner we went to Cafe Rio, which is a tradition that was started on my birthday during one of our first dates and continued on even through our..."courtship intermission." We were excited to hear about a Cafe Rio in Gilbert so we were able to keep the tradition alive, and we haven't missed a birthday yet! After that Marty wanted to go see a movie but while we were in Cafe Rio it started drizzling a little. We were so happy to be outside at a bearable temperature that we just decided to take Brynn to the playground instead. It felt so good! After that, Brynn had her first piece of birthday cake. Then Jeff, Jana, and Emma came over, because I guess when Emma heard it was Marty's birthday she wanted to go pick out a couple of things at the dollar store. So obviously she got him a funny pair of glasses and a Christmas snowglobe. She always picks out the greatest presents!

Happy Birthday Mar-Tay!
Emily, I just read your profile and truly enjoyed it...the pizza eating thing, is that you or Marty who will be eating all the pizza? And I'm so glad Brynn is so genius and has such advanced taste in music.

Happy Birthday Marty!!! Sounds like you had a fabulous birthday! Your video cracked me up - it looks like Brynn was going to run right into the camera! Oh, and thanks for letting me sit by you yesterday @ church - that little guy was sooo busy, & it was nice to hide out in the back. We ♥ you guys!

WOW Emily, thanks for the great comment on my blog...you were so good to leave your name because I totally hadn't figured it out by your mentioning Brynn and Marty! But you're so good at following directions. Other people are not so great at it. They don't leave their names so I just know somebody loves me but didn't reveal themselves...it's like having a secret admirer!!!! Anyway, I put comments back on my blog because I couldn't handle it. I just had to ask everybody to not have our last name on their blogs. Hope that will work...Wow, maybe I'll try to leave the longest comment ever for you. I wonder if there's a limit on how much one can write in a comment. It will be an experiment. I'm thinking of putting a list of other people's blogs on mine. Because I figure, they're going to link to themselves by commenting so I might as well just put them on there...oh great, what if I run out of things to say? This will not be a long enough comment! I finished four spreads yesterday, I think. On scrapbooking, that is. They are pretty great. Oh fine, I won't try to write a novel. I am so not fun. Arrrrg. Oh, that reminds me, did you hear about the new pirate movie? It's rated RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!! Ha HAHAHAHAHA HA AH AH AHAHA HA! No, but seriously, I wanted to tell you about a few of my favorite things. They are as follows: raindrops on roses, whiskers on kittens, bright copper kettles, warm woolen mittens, brown paper packages tied of with string, cream colored ponies, crisp apple streudel, doorbells, sleighbells, schnitzel with noodle, wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings, girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes, snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes, and silver white winters that melt into spring. These are a few of my favorite things. Only a few, though. I'll bet you didn't know how I adored schnitzel with noodle, but really it's one of my favorite dishes. Someday I will find out what it is and then I can make it for you. OK, longest comment ever. I win.

oh emily, I forgot. If you need help with your blog, such as showing full pictures and stuff call me. I played with mine forever but I figured out how to go in and change the coding so your blog is wider or it will show pictures that normally hide. I know it's all confusing call me if you need help or get bored I need a freind inbetween studying.

But yes, you should definitely check out Sekai Sushi on Gilbert and Southern- kinda close to Target, and Sushi Key on Power and Main. Both Delicious! Glad to know there are fellow sushi lovers! :-)
